Website " Find the Best" makes a one stop shop for locating hotels, cars, etc.

This website ' Find the Best" is new to me and I found it while researching 2.0 web technologies.  This website allows you find the best of the best in so many categories from cars to hospitals to banks and many more.

I used this website to make comparison of the some best hospitals that are out there.  This reminded me a little bit of Angie's list in a way with a little different approach.  I felt for a non technical user it was easy to understand and choose a category and Find the Best for your preference.  It was interesting to learn about the non profit hospitals as well.

It was great that while doing research for the best car, the website is aiming for the user to think like an expert and locate the best vehicle for you.  You start by selecting the type of car rather than just the Make of the car, this allowed for me to see all the car Makes that fell under my type of car , for example, an SUV.   I was able to learn all of the details of the cars from price to gas mileage, and many more.  Great site for a one stop shop and lots of really good results.

  1. Cari,
I will definitely check out this site. It sounds great. My husband and I are always searching for reviews when we are looking for somewhere to vacation, or just simply go to dinner. It's good to be able to have this option to search when making a purchase or just curious to learn more about something. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Hi, Cari,

What a great find! I can see many uses for a site like this. It seems that I'm always trying to compare different things -- apples to apples -- and it seems that most of the time, I'm spending too much time going from one website to another, and then back again.

I will definite take some time to explore the site.

  3. Hi Cari.

Thanks for sharing this! Whenever I am parting with more than $50 or so I tend to spend a lot of time searching for the best value possible. These sites always concern me a bit, though - since I figure only items that 'opted in' are included. The back end money machine of the web always makes me suspicious! lol

    1. Hi Wendy,

I love that you said whenever I am parting with more than $50 you spend a lot of time searching for the best value. My BF is always saying everyone is trying to take his money so "parting" with it made me think of him. He is the same in that he will search and search to compare. I tend to buy right away and some are god buys and some are like geez why didn't I do more research.

Thanks for responding and I think this is a good rule of thumb, anything over 50 bucks you have to do your homework.

  4. This sounds great! I wish I would have known about it back in October before my wife and I started car shopping! We test drove EIGHT different cars before we finally settled on our VW Tiguan. I absolutely love it. However I wish I would have known that it requires premium gas!
